Meeting Reflection
307-Meeting
On Thursday 6th of November 2012 at 6:30
P.M., I and a group of 2 gentlemen’s had a meeting. This meeting started
exactly at the time, all of the participants was present at the time of the
meeting. The meeting issue was about Student Success – increasing core skills
and how we can reach that with the help of our older graduated students. In the
following I’m going to indicate what had happened in the meeting.
For starters, the meeting discussed what is the topic
and what are the main goals of the meeting. Next, the meeting started by our
chairman Khaled Mohamed who was the first to speak he introduced the main
problems with the current student at HCT and what are their weaknesses points
and how we can overcome them. In addition, Waleed added another good point
which is making a survey. Furthermore, all of us gave information and solutions
about the issue, but the chairman had the whole control of the meeting and he
is the one who can decide which solution is good to apply. At the meeting I was
the minute taker, my job was to listen to observe the good points (write them
down) and to give my opinion.
Finally, we decide to do a survey about what the
older graduated students needed when they went to the field and present our
solution to the HCT administration to find out the point of view and the
decision.
All in all, the meeting was great idea to discuss a
real subject at our college, it was a good assessment that I will never forget
it because I got an experience for leading, discussing, and giving.
